Hi, I'm Aspen!

I'm a 5th generation Durango native and Fort Lewis College graduate. I've been in business as a local photographer since 2007, though my professional career behind the camera began in 2000.

Career highlights include working as a field editor for The American Quarter Horse Journal, where I had the chance to travel abroad and report on my favorite subject, horses. My resume also includes a stint as newspaper crime reporter, a large-scale photography studio manager as well as an evening t.v. news producer for an NBC affiliate.

Over the past two decades, I've fine-tuned my craft and not only know how to take a great photo, but specialize in helping my clients feel comfortable in the spotlight as well.

In my spare time, I love spending time in the mountains with my husband, Dennis, and sons, Hawk and Lex.
